Omar Blayton Joins Sunwealth as Chief Financial Officer

The Sunwealth team is honored and excited to announce that Omar Blayton has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer.  Omar, who has extensive executive experience structuring, developing and managing renewable energy projects, will oversee finance and administration activities at Sunwealth and lead the development of Sunwealth’s industry-leading financial products.

Prior to joining Sunwealth, Omar led interdisciplinary teams assembling complex renewable energy deals, most recently as Managing Director of Project Finance at Innova Energy Partners and prior to that as Vice President of Structured Finance at Greenskies Renewable Energy LLC.  Earlier in his career, Omar gained valuable experience serving as Vice President with Reznick Capital Market Securities and as an associate with Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Leveraged Finance Group. Omar started his career as finance attorney with Reed Smith LLP in New York.

Omar holds a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University, a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
