Coast to Coast in 2018

2018 will be an exciting year for Sunwealth® and the Solar Impact Fund. Building upon the success of the 2017 Solar Impact Fund, we are hard at work assembling a diverse portfolio of commercial solar projects that support our mission of strengthening communities through clean power, carbon reduction, cost savings, and job creation.

Our 2018 project portfolio will include much of what has made us successful: state-of-the-art office buildings, leading non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and houses of worship.

It will also include some firsts for Sunwealth.  We will do our first project in California.  And we will do our first two projects in our hometown of Somerville, Massachusetts – one of which will be the rooftop installation on Greentown Labs’ new Global Center for Cleantech Innovation.

For all these great projects in our pipeline, the same Sunwealth approach applies.  We apply stringent underwriting standards to evaluate the operational performance of the project and the financial strength of the power purchaser.  We work with trusted development partners to ensure the use of high-quality materials and experienced installers in the construction of the projects.  And we pool these projects together for our 2018 Solar Impact Fund, giving our growing community of committed investors the opportunity to invest directly into these impactful projects.

Last, but certainly not least, as we bring these projects online – from coast to coast – we will measure our impact, in terms of power production, carbon offset, energy savings and job creation for our communities – giving our investors the benefit of knowing the exact impact of their investment.

We can’t wait to see what 2018 brings – and we hope you will join us for the ride!
