Southern New Jersey Sunshine
On March 1st, Sunwealth's solar project with the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey and the Katz Jewish Community Center officially flipped the switch to turn on their panels.
The 132 kW solar project, developed in partnership with Ecosave, will provide power to a campus that includes the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey (“JFED”) main office and the Katz Jewish Community Center (“Katz JCC”). The Jewish Federation and Katz JCC promote and enrich Jewish culture, heritage, values, and lives by providing outstanding educational, social, and fitness and wellness programs through several amenities, including a gym, aquatics, childcare, and special services.
Over its lifetime, this project will generate nearly $144,000 in energy savings for the nonprofits, reduce carbon emissions by 3,015 metric tons, and create close to four solar job years.
