Better to Invest in the Future than in the Past.
All this talk of coal’s resurgence made us wonder how we would look if we propped up the VCR industry and bailed out Blockbuster. I wouldn't know where to begin looking for my Blockbuster card.
Despite the nonsense coming out of Washington, the Sunwealth team is focused squarely on investing in the future of energy. We have a simple investment thesis: our energy infrastructure will be decentralized, decarbonized, and democratized, and burdened with powering more and more electrified hardware (think electric autonomous vehicles).
Yes, that’s a lot of D’s, but they lead you right to commercial solar. Solar systems serving a mosaic of commercial building types, with power often being generated right at the point of consumption, all supported by a diverse community of investors committed to a clean energy economy.
And that’s where you come in. The most valuable resource we have is our community. At a time when division and rancor seem to dominate, we’re grateful for folks who share a deep appreciation for the planet, our communities and one another.
Before you go dust off your VHS copy of Top Gun, check out some great stories from the Sunwealth team below.
Until next month,
P.S. Our 2017 bond offering is closed. But if you're seeking 2017 tax equity, let’s talk.

No Days Off (For Our Solar Panels)
Our solar panels asked for a few days off around the holidays. Reasonable request. But we’re demanding people. We said (*summoning our best Bill Lumbergh voice*): “Yeah, we’re going to need you to come in tomorrow.”
Turns out, the panels didn’t care. That’s the beauty of solar. No days off. The sun is an abundant, renewable resource that keeps shining, making solar the power of the future. No wells running dry, no pipeline to dig – just clean energy every day – even during the holidays. Lumbergh would be proud.
As for us, we are looking forward to a few days off around the holidays. We hope you are, too.
Thank you to everyone who helped make 2017 a success for Sunwealth. Our growth is a tribute to those who look forward and see solar as the futurecornerstone of our energy infrastructure.
We can’t wait to see what 2018 has in store. In the meantime, from the Sunwealth family to yours, we wish you a happy holiday season.
