Our Impact: Sunwealth’s 2018 Impact Report

We’re delighted to share our 2018 Impact Report with the Sunwealth Community.

We started this journey in 2015, developing and financing our first solar project on the roof of Greenpoint Manufacturing and Design Center in Brooklyn, NY. In the following years, we continued to develop and finance solar projects – first, individually, and later, through our portfolio approach, working with more local solar developers and committed investors every year.

By the end of 2018, we have invested close to $15M in 77 high-performing solar projects across 37 diverse communities. We are proud to say that in their lifetime, these projects will produce $8.3M in energy savings for our power purchasers, create 190 job years, and reduce carbon emissions by 129,000 metric tons. Looking back at the impact we helped create over the years, we know that we could not have done this without our partners. Thank you for sharing our vision of an energy future that is decarbonized, decentralized, and democratized – and for working with us to make this future a reality.

Today, we continue to finance and develop projects through our 2019 Solar Impact Fund, delivering meaningful social, environmental and financial returns to investors and communities.
