The Sunwealth team is honored and excited to announce that Omar Blayton has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. Omar, who has extensive executive experience structuring, developing and managing renewable energy projects, will oversee finance and administration activities at Sunwealth and lead the development of Sunwealth’s industry-leading financial products.

With that simple notion in mind, Sunwealth partnered with solar developer Resonant Energy to provide 70 kW of clean energy to three houses of worship in Boston, Massachusetts, each of which are pillars of strength in their communities: Second Church in Dorchester, Bethel A.M.E., and Church of Saint Augustine and Saint Martin.

But the technology isn't quite there yet. In the past decade, clean technology and building technology have come a long way. Between solar efficiency, battery storage, and advancements in building efficiency, much of the technology risk has been resolved, making it very technologically possible for buildings to generate significant portions of their own power.

A few years ago, PSM Clean Energy started with the simple notion that the commercial solar industry suffered from high transaction costs and a lack of transparency between projects and investors. The PSM team embarked upon an ambitious project to create an online platform and standardized process by which commercial solar projects could be easily and economically financed, allowing developers to build valuable projects and investors to generate high-quality returns. Two years and a series of successful projects later, the PSM platform has been validated.
